Wine is a beverage obtained and produced from the fermentation of the natural contents of grapes and other fruits, or vegetables, containing sugar, including such beverages when fortified by the addition of alcohol or spirits.

It is made from a variety of ingredients which is then fermented where the alcohol level is 12-18% naturally unless fortified.

Fruit wines are produced from the fermentation of fruits other than grapes.
