Chip is described as a small piece of wood used to make pulp. Chips are made either from wood waste in a sawmill or pulpwood operation, or from pulpwood specifically cut for this purpose. Chips are larger and coarser than sawdust.
Combustible means able to burn. Combustible materials have the ability to burn or catch fire under specific conditions. Combustible materials are typically characterized by their flammability and their ability to release heat and produce flames when exposed to an ignition source.
Cellulose insulation is made from wastepaper, such as used newspaper and boxes. It is shredded into small particles, and chemicals providing resistance to fire and insects are added.
